Reverberar

In Reverberar (or To Reverberate), highly saturated, contrasting hues of similar tonal value are placed alongside one another, creating an optical vibration across the surface. The resulting energy reverberates through the composition, recalling both seismic waves travelling through the earth and sound moving through space.

The work also considers reverberation as an internal process: how emotions, memories, traumas and thoughts continue to echo within us, shaping how we feel, act, relate to others and inhabit the world.
